Dear all,
IFIS is approaching another milestone of our Institute's work: the 10th anniversary of our Online Colloquium which was hosted for the first time in November 2016!
For almost a decade, our Online Colloquium has now served as a global laboratory for integral thought, hosting almost 90 sessions that have bridged the gap between meta-theory and social action.
We would like to celebrate this special occasion with a special landmark event, a hybrid summit experience, consisting of:
- an in-person retreat in September 2026,
- an internal Anniversary Colloquium on November 10, 2026 (for members only)
a public Anniversary Colloquium on November 11, 2026
....each of them focusing on
"The Future of Integral Studies"
We are very happy to invite you to these events - for it is you, the integral community of research an practice - that has allowed us to develop and sustain this format for the last ten years!
You find more information on each of these events in our event folder

So far, we have confirmed contributions for the public Anniversary Colloquium from out Advisory board members Prof. Dr. Jonathan Reams, Prof. Dr. Mark Edwards and others. More updates will follow as we receive feedback from our members and friends.
So please do save the date. We will keep you posted.
Note that Registration is open for an IFIS On-Site Retreat "The Future of Integral Studies" in the Black Forest in September (10-13 sept 2026).
Please register by JUNE, 20, 2026, if you wish to participate in this retreat

Info session and Q&A for the Body-Mindedness Practice Seminar
Tuesday 16 JUNE at 19.30h-21h CEST, with Michael Keller and Bettina Geiken
To register for the Info session, please go here.
About this seminar:
Our body is a very fine antenna for the most subtle signals and reveals an array of non-verbal signals that are interpreted immediately as congruent (or not) with our verbal messages.

As has also been shown in much research, our bodies have ways of knowing that are not directly connected to our conscious mind in ways that can support new perspectives and inform our possibilities for making meaning and different choices (a sense-making process). Becoming more aware and practiced in noticing our body sensations, habits, and patterns – and the meaning we make – can assist in opening new insights, intuition and choice-making versatility.
The seminar offers in depth grounding exercises as a basis for holding tension and take embodied decisions including working/coaching with each other and in depth reflection on the learning
It is an applied learning and direct experience format, a three-part series that is designed to build foundation progressively for the interdependent integration of each subsequent session. The actual learning and practice building is designed to happen in between the 2h sessions. These are the moments to practice regularly and apply it in real-life. You will be supported by handouts, worksheets and recordings.
Costs for the three-part series:
- 99 € for IFIS members and affiliates,
- 149 € for non-members.
Join us on June 16 at 19.30-21h CEST for a free Info-session and Q&A moment.
Please register here for the Q&A
