Dear all,
we cordially invite you to our next Online Colloquium which will look at how trauma integration work can be done by using systemic and family constellation work, on
Wednesday, Nov 27, 2024, 20-22h
In February 2023, Turkey and Syria faced massive earthquaques that destroyed or massively damaged about 200,000 buildings, leaving inhabitants homeles and traumatized. And while reconstruction is going on, some wounds are very slow to heal.
We will hear the story of Melahat Yapici, a Turkish born resident of Switzerland, who has decided to cancel her job and home to go to her country of origin to help people to deal with their experiences.
Melahat writes: "Working in Turkey was one of the most formative experiences of my life. I was deeply touched by how the methods of systemic constellations were able to help the people affected to come to terms with their traumatic experiences and find new hope."
In this Colloquium, we will experience some of the methods that Melahat has used with the people she met in the Hatay resion. It will take place on

About the presenter:
Melahat Yapici was born in Turkey and came to Switzerland as a 13-year-old girl, separated from her mother, to live with her father. This profound experience shaped the rest of her life and awakened her strong interest in relationship and parenting issues. In the following years, she invested heavily in her own education and became a foreign language teacher, providing pedagogical and didactic support to people of different age groups in their learning processes. Today she works as a language teacher in Basel.
A few years ago, she also trained in constellation work and other transformative methods, which she has been offering on a part-time basis ever since.
